Abstract GHB and it's precursors are still in circulation and being used in Drug-Facilitated Crime (DFC). Some complications arise from analysis and interpretation. For example, GHB has a relatively short half-life and may test negative if the specimen is not collected in a timely manner. Additionally, there is endogenous GHB that must be understood to provide proper interpretation.
