Abstract

Oral fluid offers many advantages as a biological specimen for drugged driving investigations. The SOFT/AAFS Oral Fluid Committee has sponsored this Continuing Education Webinar to explain the difference between roadside oral fluid screening and oral fluid laboratory evidentiary drug testing. Several programs will be highlighted to guidance to attendees working to establish programs within their jurisdiction.

Learning Objectives

1) To demonstrate difference between roadside oral fluid screening and oral fluid laboratory evidentiary drug testing.
2) To provide an overview of the AAA sponsored toolkit, "Use of Oral Fluid to Detect Drugged Drivers"
3) To highlight national and international oral fluid drug testing programs
